The company aims to establish production of 2nd generation synthetic diesel, Xyn-diesel. The full-scale Xyn-diesel plant can provide 14% of the total Norwegian demand for road transportation diesel.
There are significant environmental benefits of Xyn-fuels as they are made from a renewable source, have a CO2 reduction potential of 90% compared to fossil fuels and have substantially less local environmental effects.
Xyn-Diesel
Xynergo's synthetic diesel is made from feed stocks (woody biomass)that is not in competition with food production. Synthetic diesel can substitute or blend with fossil diesel at any ratio. There are no additional infrastructure requirements and no adaptation needed to utilize the fuel in existing diesel engines and power-trains.
Xyn-Naphta
Naphta is a byproduct from the Xyn-diesel production.
Xyn-Oil
Bio-crude-oil (pyrolysis oil) from woody biomass feedstock.
Xyn-Char
Char is a green byproduct from the Xyn-diesel production.
